Singer Flavour throws party during dad's burial

Nigerian singer Chinedu Okoli, known by many as Flavour celebrated his father's life in a classic send off. The burial was likened to a party as mourners stepped out in fashion, sang and danced during the funeral ceremony.

Luxury was showcased from the types of cars that parked at the funeral. He took to social media to write;

 “O RUO N’OMUME. KA ANYI DUO ODOGWU IJE ” (The time has come. Let us bid farewell to the hero)

Adding "Celebrating a life well-lived,Rest in peace, Papa Ijele. 🕊️"

The funeral ceremony was also attended by notable Nigerian celebrities. 

Flavour's wife Sandrah also wrote "Today, we gather not in sorrow, but in celebration of the life of a remarkable man who will always be an icon to many. Farewell, my father-in-law, Pa Benjamin Okoli.”

The singer got into the limelight with his hit song 'Nwa Baby' that was released 12 years ago. Since then, he skyrocketed to fame with other songs like 'Shake' 'Game Changer' 'Big Baller' 'Baby Na Yoka' 'Ada Ada' among others.
