Diamond Platnumz is saying that if he was looking at the amount of money he makes from the music industry, then he would have left the music business.
The singer said he was making more money from his other businesses.
"For you to grow, you have to have more responsibilities that will add more money. If not, I would have exited the music industry," he said.
Adding, "The businesses I have now are making me more money that the music I do. "
He went on to advise "But you are not supposed to leave, you just need to add more work."
Apart from being a musician, the singer owns a record label that has signed Zuchu, Mbosso, Lava Lava, DVoice and Queen Darleen.
Previously, the label had signed Harmonize, Rayvanny, and Rich Mavoko before their exit.
Diamond also owns a media house that has a TV and radio station. The singer is also a brand ambassador for a couple of brands including an alcohol brand, phone brand and a telecommunication brand.
