Standard Group-owned station- Radio Maisha has poached Milele FM's top presenter Chris The Bass.
Chris will be joining Radio Maisha’s breakfast show on Monday, April 22, 2024. He will be hosting the show alongside Shuga Boy and Zully who have been the drives off the morning show for a while now.
Zully replaced Emmanuel Mwashumbe when he left for Radio 47 a few months ago. At Radio 47, Mwashumbe linked up with Chris Da Bass’s former Boss Alex Mwakideu for the morning show.
An excited Chris used his socials to announce his arrival at Radio Maisha with a promise to link with his fans from Monday.
“Tuko Mbele Pamoja … Tupatane Kesho 6AM Pale @radiomaisha.ke UNABISHAAAAA!!!!!!,” Chris said.
Chris announced his exit from Milele FM after 5 years.
“Jamani Kilicho Na Mwanzo Lazima Kiwe Na Mwisho, My 5 Years At Radio Milele Has Been Sumsing Amazing, ASANTE SANA Kwako Wewe Msikilizaji, Kwa Sababu Bila Wewe Mimi Sipo !! ASANTE SANA Kwa my colleagues na My Bosses Pale Radio Milele, My Brother @mcatricky Tutapatana Tu, Jamani Tuliizabanga Ikazabanginka !! ASANTENI SANA, Kwa Sasa NIMEMALIZA MILELE,” Chris said.
Chris used to host the evening drive at Milele FM alongside MCA Tricky.
