Entrepreneur and politician Mike Sonko has sent a message congratulating actor Njugush and his wife, a week after the couple fully immersed themselves in the public transport business in the country.

Njugush and his wife revealed that they sold their Prado TX car and invested the money in purchasing a 33-passenger bus, which they registered with a well-known sacco in Nairobi and its environs.

While many of their fans seemed to cheer them on with congratulatory messages, some appeared to criticise them, saying their business would not last.

Sonko encouraged Njugush and his wife, saying that when he started a similar business, many words were said, but a few years later, they succeeded.

Sonko predicted that Njugush and his wife would succeed in the matatu sector in Nairobi, rebuking those who say their business will fail.

"I have seen a few haters trying to discourage them. Even we were told we couldn't make it when we started, but we succeeded. Just watch, this couple will prove many wrong! There is a God in heaven, and the devil is always a liar. I know they will succeed," Sonko said.

Last week, the couple bought a small 33-passenger bus and named it after their firstborn son, Tugi.

As part of the launch, Super Metro provided free transportation to their customers, inviting them on their new journey. They announced the exciting news through their social media platforms.
