The Chipukeezy show premiered on KBC in September 2023. Vincent Mwasia Mutua alias Chipukeezy at the time of the formal announcement said the show was aimed at marketing, growing, and monetizing young talents in the Country.
The show had been on a three-year break. For the relaunch, Chipukeezy thanked fans for their patience as many did not know the fate of his show, and kept asking him what his next move would be.
