Gospel minister, artist and TV  host Kambua Manundu has penned an open inspirational letter to anyone experiencing grief and fighting feelings of giving up.

Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of 3 shared how she has found her "light at the end of the tunnel," hoping that her words might impact someone else sailing in the same boat.

"I heard someone say how once you experience grief, everything is marked as before or after the event. It becomes a landmark that demarcates what life was before, and what it turned out to be after the fact," started off the gospel artist.

Touching on her own grief, which she has been vocal about in the last couple months, Kambua narrated how much losing her toddler changed her and her perspective on life. Noting that her late child reminded her of the gift of the present and how important it is to live in the now.

"So after the loss of my son, I began to live my life with urgency. He lived such a short while but he taught me so much, my boy Malachi.

About how fickle life is, and how intentional we have to be with the gift of now." wrote the artist.

For the next paragraph, Kambua who is currently blessed with 2 healthy kids highlighted that she was sharing her journey so as to help anyone out there who might be in the same boat or feeling like giving up due to the tragedies they have experienced.

She noted that she has also fought with thoughts of giving up but she stays grounded by the fact that she hopes to leave a legacy as a person who impacted others and had a grand life that mattered.

"I have so many plans and dreams... but I don't hold the guarantee that is the days of my life; I believe God will give me a full life to enjoy his goodness here, but even his plans for me were different.

I would want to know that the life I lived here mattered. That I impacted someone's life. I'd want to know that I stepped out in obedience to do the things he called me to do, even when all I've wanted is to retreat and give up. I'd want to know that I gave everything I have.

These are my reflections, triggered by something that took me back to the day my life changed forever. I hope it somewhat resonates with you," the last of her Instagram post read.
