Andrew Kibe has, for the first time, clarified the rumours circulating on social media that he has been a preacher.

The content creator blames Lang'ata MP Felix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang'o, for starting the rumour, which he himself considers false.

However, Kibe faced the challenge of explaining pictures circulating online showing him in a church setting as a preacher, holding a Bible in some.

According to him, he has never been a pastor, but the pictures were taken when he attended a funeral to represent his pastor friend who was intoxicated.

"I have never been a pastor, never led workout sessions in the gym. But one day, my friend who is a pastor was intoxicated and couldn't conduct a funeral service for a child. So, he called me and said we couldn't find a pastor, and you know we have to lead that funeral. So, he called me, and I went. I wish you were there to see me at that funeral at Lang'ata Cemetery," Kibe explained.

"I prayed there and even gave a sermon. Even now, if you want, I can preach; I learned the Bible because my friend was a pastor at that time," he added.

Kibe stated that the things circulating online are false and aimed at tarnishing his image.

Regarding his sudden departure from the country, Kibe mentioned that at that time, he was financially struggling and needed an idea to get himself out of the situation.

So, he spoke to his friend in the United States, told him everything, and the friend sent him money for a plane ticket, which is how he left.
