Former radio presenter Andrew Kibe has opened up about how his father traumatized him when he was a child.

He explained how he hated his father for making him remove his socks after he came to the house from work.

"There is a thing that my dad would do that I hated, he would come into the house sit on the sofa, and make me remove his socks for him," Kibe said.

He narrates the story as he says that he was traumatized by the situation and he wondered why his dad would make him do that even though he wore them by himself in the morning and made him remove them in the evening.

He explains that until now he thinks about it and he wonders as it is unforgettable to him despite the difference in years since the incident occurred.

Some fans in the comment section did not hesitate to describe their experiences and spoke about how they felt while doing that for their fathers as some expressed how they felt about it.

This are some of the comments shared by Netizens:

jazenahI used to do this for fun ...It was my absolute favorite thing to do for my dad. ☺️

missi_.kParenting styles matter. To another child this would be an honor, siblings will fight for their turn to remove daddy's socks. To another child, it is punishment based on their perception of you. Many of these guys running around hating on women, single mothers , and women hating on men comes from some trauma that will consume them if they don't deal with it. Parents need to be held accountable for their actions and being a parent is not some right of passage,if you are not ready don't do it because of society.

thekikombeThis explains so much about Kibe! So so much!Having said that, he is such an intelligent, and eloquent man1d74 likes

jaluomojaTraumatic childhood experiences can cause adults to be emotionally detached and have outbursts of emotional frustration or social anxiety due to bolted feelings of terror, deep sadness, and anger. The upsurge of these emotions often leads to symptoms that leak out under stress or unpleasant reminders. Many people have endured the effects of childhood trauma but are not aware of them

jannywanyagaI will repeat it no matter the trauma a woman or a man who can open his or her tongue and abuse his parents or siblings in public calling them names never trust them when they say they love you,
