Pastor James Ng’ang’a from Neno Evangelism Church has spoken following his attendance at a significant prayer gathering at Nyayo Stadium, led by American evangelist Benny Hinn.
During his church service on Sunday, Ng’ang’a revealed that Benny Hinn, an American-Israeli evangelist, faced challenges in showcasing his preaching skills, although he commended him for his singing abilities.
"I was in that meeting; I sat there because I just went to see how God is using him. I won't speak now, but there was something wrong somewhere. That man struggled.
He struggled, he is a singer, he sang song. When I was there he sang a lot until he got there...I am a person of calculations," Ng’ang’a said.
However, the self-proclaimed Commander-in-Chief in the Lord's army expressed his dissatisfaction with the lack of recognition and respect he deserved during the event, as he was isolated and placed far away.
“Mimi nilikuwa nimewekwa kuleee, kameza kalikuwa pale. Hata nilitajwa na mtu mmoja tu, ‘Kenya One yuko hapa’… lakini wale walikuwa pale mbele wote, angalia wote [jinsi walivyotambuliwa]…” Ng’ang’a complained.
Pastor Ng’ang’a hinted that he learned the main lesson of focusing on his own affairs and not going to places uninvited.
"I just wished I was given a guitar to play even two songs to see if deliverance would happen right there, but you see, Kenya cannot receive me.
They receive Ugandans, they are the ones given chairs. I saw Pastor Ezekiel sitting near the door, he went ahead of me... even to be told to do this [gesture in the air to greet people] there was none," he said.
"I was just watching how God is using me and how He is also using him [Benny Hinn], and I knew that I am also here. Even if the Kenyan government does not recognise me, the government of Heaven recognizes me," he added.
