Content creator Chebet Ronoh is sharing some wise words for anyone who needs them.

The Tiktoker took to her platform to implore Kenyans not to compromise on relationships.

"Every time I've lowered my frequency to meet people at their level, I've paid. and for so long I've thought that humility, being an open book, not judging, just allowing people in my space, and for all those times, I was burned," she said.

She added she wasn't able to make wise decisions.

"It's my last time learning. And I share these things so that you can learn from my mistakes one, and so that you can protect the softness and innocence of your heart and soul because it's really that precious," Ronoh added.

She quoted two Bible verses.

"Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm" she began with Proverbs 13:20,

"The truth ain't it? If you constantly stay in rooms that undervalue you or disrespect you, that is not humility that is dissolving yourself. Because if you are not expanding you are shrinking. or even worse you are staying the same, which is a crime"

Again quoting Mathew 7:6 as an inspiration,

Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

"It's okay to let go of people that limit you. Your love and support are useless to someone who is constantly showing you that they don't value it," she added.

"Notice when your love and support have little effect on someone. Know when to literally stop," she begged.

"Constantly giving someone of what they already don't appreciate haha, don't do your part, if it fails, keep it at a distance. Love them from a distance,".

Rono's advice was to be around emotionally intelligent people.

"Don't waste your time trying to gather the sheep and pigs. We're wasting time," she added.

She highlighted the spiritual gifts humans should rely on.

The first is our gut feeling.

"Every bad situation you've been in, you kind of knew before, but you gave it the benefit of the doubt, why? You're not crazy man, your body already knows what you don't know yet. So just leave, pack your bags, and you will heal on the way, on the journey. And it's rather you feel that pain of detaching than feeling the pain of holding onto something that doesn't even align with you," she said.

Her second was on the ability to judge situations.

"Ask God for discernment, it's a crazy world we live in, we don't know their intentions, so that's why we ask is this my path? Ask for guidance. Humble yourself to ask for guidance, because you don't know. You are not Batman, you don't have the receipts like that. And finally, don't let your desperation for attachment or love, never put you in a position where you are simping."
