Content creator Nicholas Kioko has recently opened up about his journey as a parent to twins and how he dealt with online haters.
In an interview with Oga Obina, Kioko shared his experiences while navigating the world of parenting with not one child but two at that.
Kioko revealed that while raising twins has been a whirlwind of fulfilling moments, it also comes with its own set of challenges that can prove hectic.
The father of two divulged that one of the most striking aspects of raising twins, identical at that is their synchrony in their actions. The content creator further explained that from their sleeping schedule to falling ill to throwing tantrums the synchrony between the twins wavers on the same wavelength.
"Hakuna time hata moja, mmoja ukiwa msick peke yake, hata daktari alitwambia mmoja akiwa msick waleteni hosi wote. Mmoja akiwa msick leo we are sure within the next 24 hours mwingine ni mgonjwaaa," Nicholas said.
Another hectic aspect the content creator further divulges is getting things in two. He explained that while acquiring baby things, the likes of clothes and everything else they have to get them in sets of two which can sometimes pose a challenge when they don't get identical ones.
Upon discussing the hectic yet fulfilling journey the content creator disclosed that the two children have their differences as well. As he detailed one of the two is more active and often takes to teaching the other.
In the interview, Kioko further shared that despite the online critics based on his successful milestones, he stands firm by the fact that they were achievements, and that's what matters as he's made the milestone.
Kioko and Wambui had recently taken to social media to celebrate their twins turning one year old in a heartfelt post. The two welcomed their babies in February 2023.
