Maina Kageni super elated after Beyoncé and Rihanna's songwriter DM'd him

• An elated Maina gushed over the songwriter identified as Diane Warren reaching out to him and the prospect of him helping her attain a goal of hers.

Classic 105's presenter Maina Kageni is over the moon after he received a direct message (DM) on Instagram from a famed American multi-award winning songwriter.

The radio presenter on his officially Instagram page not only shared a screen grab of the songwriter reaching out to him but he went on to also pin the post on his page for all to see.

An elated Maina gushed over the songwriter identified as Diane Warren reaching out to him and the prospect of him helping her attain a goal of hers.

Diane in the message noted she wanted to work with Nigerian Grammy nominee Davido who is set to perform in Kenya next month.

“Hi!! I just saw your post, I’d love to work with Davido. I love Afro beat and just did great songs with Tiwa Savage and Angelique Kidjo. I’d love to do more," Diane's message from her verified Instagram account with over 96k followers read.

Maina accompanied the post with a few other screen grabs showcasing Diane's works and some of the awards such as the Golden Globe, Satellite Awards, Grammy and an Academy Honorary Award that she has bagged, just to mention but a few.

Diane also has a star in the Hollywood walk of fame which she got more that 2 decades ago.

Captioning the post, Maina gushed over the fact that Diane had reached out to him, he went on to send a message to the 'Unavailable' crooner asking him to hope on Diane's request and create magic.

Diane Warren reached out to Maina due to a post Maina had shared announcing the father of 6 would be headlining a concert at Uhuru Gardens on March 30, 2024, as part of the upcoming Raha Fest.
