Musician & producer Magix Enga announces musical comeback
Magix Enga has announced his return to the music scene.
The formal announcement was made on his social media where he stated that tough moments were behind him.
"Back from the shadows, stronger than ever. Mungu Wangu Hujainiangusha 🙏," Magix said.
He added that his fans should expect the best of music from him as he hits the studios.
"Thank you to everyone who never lost faith in me, Kerry Lens , Willy M Tuva, Asila Bunny, Nebert Nebo, Big Afrique Studios, DJ Sule, and especially my incredible wife who stood by my side through it all. Massive big up to my friends and fans pia… mmekua mkiuliza Enga alienda wapi… Enga is back ‼️ Time to create some epic timeless music," he added.
He also indicated that he is now living in Eldoret.
"As I step back into the limelight, I carry with me the support of an incredible team and the unwavering belief of my new hometown: Eldoret. Together, we’ll write a story of resilience, redemption, and gratitude," the producer said.
2023 was a tough year for the King of Beats, as he repeatedly appealed to Kenyans to help him out financially.
He revealed his struggles severally in pleas saying that despite being a part of Kenya's most popular hits, he has not benefitted from sales of the songs.
His studio was closed over rent arrears leaving him jobless. His newborn also needed to be fed.
“I have a one-month-old baby boy who is depending on me,” Enga opened up on his Instagram page.
“I tried to pull myself together, but with the studio closure, my options are dwindling. I still believe I am the best producer.”
He even tried to reach out to the Head of State in his New Year message, the music producer acknowledged
"Happy New Year to you all. 21 days of gratitude and I realized I have a lot to be grateful for. Thank you to all who supported my music and any other kind of way. Blessings to those who reached out. May Jah protect us and may we all win this season" he concluded.
