Marakwet Daughter and Mary Kilobi

Media Personality Mary Kilobi has weighed in after Millicent Jerotich also known as Marakwet Daughter after her recent outburst where she lectured her crirics with no chills.

The Mali Safi Chito hitmaker has been trending after her recent rant and Kilobi is here for her sentiments.

Taking to her socials, Kilobi who is married to Francis Atwoli faulted Netizens who always abuse and critic celebrities but they don’t want a test of their own medicine.

She went on to laud the singer saying she admires her courage when it comes to dealing with haters online.

“Kumechemka!!!!! Kumbe when fans or Kenyans in this Matter are given just alittle taste of their medicine kumbe Rawalpindi saana? 😃 I may not agree with what Mali Safi Chito said but honestly you guys say awful things. Mbona mnaumwa? It's your turn to feast!

“Pokeeni hiyo na mtulie.😃 That's how some people feel when you insult them. Some people really mind what you say! Keep thriving JEROTICH. The Marakwet #Malisafichito. Wewe ni kiboko ya online bullies! #Rushenimawenimezoea!!!.,” Mary Kilobi said.

Her sentiments come at a time when MCSK CEO Ezekiel Mutua had also defended Marakwet's daughter over her rant.

“Too much ado about nothing on Mali Safi Chito. Leave the girl alone. She is loving her moments of fame.

Don’t rain on her parade! She might have spoken out of turn and she may even sound arrogant and conceited. But she needs guidance and support, not condemnation and malicious attacks or criticism,” Ezekiel wrote in part.

He went on to vehemently defend Marakwet's Daughter noting she acted as she did because she was provoked.

“You see there are people who can’t stand an assertive woman who knows how to protect her space. They bring outdated and primitive debates into everything one says and look for fault where there’s none.

I have viewed the clips and followed the comments and came to the conclusion that she was provoked to act as she did," the MCSK CEO said.

“Even on the issue of her asking the DJ to pull down the content with adaptations of her song, she was right. The assertion that they were promoting is neither here nor there. Let the girl be!”

In a now widely circulated video, the 'Mali Safi Chito' hitmaker asserted her readiness to block anyone engaging in what she considered harmful behavior of spreading negativity on her social media posts.

“You are used to using bad language in my comment section. Mumezoea sanaa kupupuu inbox yangu pale TikTok, pupuu sasa hapa. Nkt!” the artist said as she expressed her frustration towards her followers.
