'Keroro' hitmaker Herbert Nakitare aka Nonini is back in Kenya. The musician jetted into Nairobi and was received like a King.

"When your people receive you with a big heart. You just have to be humble," he tagged those who picked him up from JKIA.

He will be holding his first concert in Kenya after three years in Kericho on the 28th before then moving to the Coast for his homecoming event in Mtwapa.

"3 Epic nights only! Nonini Mgenge2ru Homecoming Tour! #"

The singer had this year gone viral for his lawsuit against social media influencer Brian Mutinda, who was sued for using his son 'We Kamu' without authorization.

In March, a Milimani court awarded Nonini a million shillings for the copyright case. Mutinda had featured the 'We Kamu' sing in a video promoting the TV set Syinix.

After the award, Nonini expressed satisfaction writing, "Today, March 29, 2023. will go down in history (Year of the Jordan) and is a win for the Kenyan music industry," read part of the statement.

The ruling was also celebrated by his fans who urged respect for the music industry. He left Kenya in 2021, explaining his decision

"Two years and I have never regretted. Probably one of the best moves I have ever made in my life. Don't be afraid to adjust and change accordingly," he wrote an encouraging message to Kenyans about his decision.
