Kenyans are gearing up for a serious share from next week as the country looks forward to Christmas.

With that comes plans to travel to the countryside, or ushago, as we like to call it. There is a cautionary message from a Kenyan man who has taken to his TikTok account to advise Nairobians on how to behave.

User 'mtunecessary' has concerns that when city residents visit the countrywide, they carry with them habits that are not oo pleasing.

"As we all know watu wa Nairobi we are now planning to commute and drive at breakneck speed to come back to the suburbs, crossroads for Christmas. So allow me to read them the rules one more time" he begins his advice.

1. There is nothing like introvert or extrovert. It's either you are talking to people ama unaringa or sengenya.

2. Don't tell us what you eat and what you don't. What you do or don't do in Nairobi. Here you wake up, milk the cow alafu unapika chai kwa moshi.

3. We don't watch Netflix and chill here, we only watch DJ Afro. We are very loyal to that, so tuheshimiane tafadhali

4. It is raining right now in the outpost, so sneakers and high heels are not advisable. it may not be in your best interest. Buy gumboots

5. At no particular time should we hear any one of you complain about infrastructure or vicinity because you are always electing people you went to school with. So stick to your choice of leader.

6. Kama hujui kupika chapati please this is very serious and not to be discussed again. Kama hujui kupika chapati, and not the soft ones, please stay out of the kitchen.

That is a very sacred meal that does not need to be played with. Sanctification, consecration, and dedication we give chapati should not be jested,
