Gospel minister Christina Shusho has been trending on X. The 'Relax' hitmaker's lyrics to some of her songs have been trending as Kenyans got surprised that she derives them straight from the Bible.
While most were impressed, others were left criticizing the singer for singing word for word from verses of the Bible.
Shusho has responded to Kenyans, thanking them for their support and assuring them that she will be performing in Nairobi on new year's eve.
"Due to increasing demands for a concert in Kenya my team and I are working with @MwalimChurchill to have a concert on the 31st December 2023."
She tagged comedian Churchill, hinting that her concert would involve the laugh industry director.
"Karibu Sana Mtumishi..Hapa ni nyumbani.Twakusubiria hii December.Majaaliwa," responded Churchill.
In March this year, Christina responded to claims of being secular singer Harmonize's mentor. This is after Harmonize knelt before her when he met her at an airport in Kenya.
"I had the opportunity to sit and talk with Harmonize, he said something that touched my heart. He said 'Sister, I really like your songs, when you sing your songs, you educate us about God, you direct us to know God and do not force us, you leave us the choice to decide to follow God or continue with our affairs,'" Shusho quoted the words from Harmonize
