US-based Tanzanian artist Vanessa Mdee says she is not ready for any more kids.
The mother of two now says she already has her plate full with her two kids.
This she shared during a Live session with her fans.
“Two are enough, and they are even stressing me,” she admitted
Vanessa added that she admired her parents for providing everything they needed.
“In the past, things were much harder, but they did it with so much grace, and they raised us well. We did not lack anything. It is something I admire,” Vanessa emphasized.
The couple met at an Essence Festival afterparty in New Orleans and have been "inseparable ever since,".
The pair later got engaged on Dec. 30, 2020, in Atlanta.
Vanessa and Rotimi welcomed their first child in September 2021.
In March 2023, they welcomed their second child, a daughter named Imani.
Being an only child Rotimi expressed his desire to have a big family. According to him, they ain't stopping any time soon.
“So I am working out right now and I am just thinking like the number one question has like, yoh why have kids back to back? And for me, I grew up an only child so I want my son to have someone that he can count on and he knows they are going to be there for him, that she looks at her right and she knows she has an older brother who is going through the same thing at the same age,” Rotimi said.
Adding
“You know and like I did not want that six, seven gap, so I wanted them to be very close in age and V understood and she wanted the same thing you know and I felt like having that companion will matter when they are older,” he said.
