Akothee has clarified that contrary to what many believe she met the mother to her estranged husband Omosh.

The two were introduced during the woman's birthday.

“Those who are coming up with ideas like Omosh was a Pakistani, that is wrong. He was Swiss. Born and raised in Switzerland. He comes from a family of five. His mother is a singer mum,” she said.

“He comes from a family of five. His mother is a singer mum. He is the second born. I met his mother when we went to Italy. The mother usually celebrates her birthday in Italy. I went there and I was introduced,” she said.

In a Live session on October 31, 2023, Akothee clarified that she is the one who dumped Omosh.

"I have moved on from it. It does not exist anymore. I want to tell you that I walked out of that relationship back in June. I will, however, not go into details,” Akothee said.

She added, “I did enjoy my marriage; I enjoyed my wedding. I don’t regret anything. I did my wedding on my birthday, just in case things went wrong, as they have done, I would not have any regrets,”.

The 43-year-old musician hinted that she left her marriage when they were enjoying their honeymoon after learning a couple of things that she did not know before.

She, however, pointed out that she did not tell the white man from Switzerland about her decision immediately, and she even lied to him and said that she wouldn’t leave him.

“I walked out of the relationship back in June. I normally walk out of my relationships while I am still in them. When we were on honeymoon, I found out some things that I could not cope with. Then he asked me, "Will you leave me?” I said, "No, honey, I love you”. When I was leaving Switzerland in July, at the airport, he asked me, "Will you leave me?, I said "No, honey, I love you”. But for sure, I had already left,” Akothee narrated.
