Popular Kenya musician Esther Akoth alias Akothee says she has healed from the heartbreak after parting ways with herhusband Dennis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer.
This, even as she apologized to lawyer Miguna Miguna for ignoring his advice on marrying the Swiss national.
“After God, women fear Miguna, sorry for being rude bro, I was in love, I meant well,” she said.
In a post, Akothee narrated how she fell in love with Omosh while defending her move to settle down with him.
“Dennis found me at the time I was ready to settle down and he gave me the love, attention and company that I needed then,” she explained.
“Life as a superstar can be very lonely, I had no support from family nor friends, and on several occasions, I have felt like selling everything and going to hide somewhere no one would find me,” she adds.
Akothee said she found solace in Dennis describing him as the perfect match.
Regretting her decision to marry him, the businesswoman argued that she ignored the warnings mistaking Omosh for the right partner.
“I was and still innocent. I have forgiven myself for being naive…honest and stupid, but that does not define me as a person. I win in most cases, I lost on this one, it is okay,” she wrote.
A month ago, Miguna challenged Akothee to explain to him the details of Omosh.
In a post on his X page after meeting Akothee, the lawyer who shared photos of him with the singer said she must explain to him as her elder brother.
"I had a chance to tell Esther Akothe (Akothee) that whether she was upset with me or not, she must explain to me, her Big Brother, who Omosh ja Switzerland is and what his true background is. Let X break today!" he said.
Akothee tied the knot with Omosh in April this year in a ceremony held at Windsor Hotel, Nairobi.
The wedding was attended by several dignitaries including Gender Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa, Lawyer PLO Lumumba, Lang'ata MP Jalang'o and wife, Homa Bay Woman Rep Bensouda Atieno.
Others included Kisumu First Lady Dorothy Nyongo, MP Millie Odhiambo, Former CAS David Osiany and his wife Syombua Osiany, and Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu among others.
Notable celebrities were Azziad, Millie, Kabi Wa Jesus, Diana and her husband Bahati.
The wedding was held on her birthday. She turned 40 years old.
