Juma Jux's message to Nyashinski after epic Nairobi Link up

• Nyashinski, Diamond & Mejja dominate the 2023 Oktobafest with electrifying performances

Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has praised Kenyan star Nyashinski for an exciting show over the weekend.  Jux was brought in by the 'Malaika' hitmaker as they sang to their hit song 'Incase You Don't Know.'

Jux also wowed fans with some of his other hits including 'Bora Nienjoy' which he featured singer Diamond Platnumz.

He took to social media to thank Nyashinski.

The show happened during the Oktobafest that went down over the weekend which came to a triumphant close on Sunday, after three days of non-stop music, cultural immersion, and electrifying performances.

The festival's overarching goal to celebrate and unite East African culture through music was not only met but exceeded, leaving attendees with unforgettable memories and a deep sense of pride in their shared heritage. 

This was the grand finale of a month-long celebration of East African culture, music, and beer, offering revelers a dynamic and unforgettable experience that truly showcased the vibrant tapestry of the region.  

The weekend commenced with a throwback-themed session on Friday, setting the stage for what would be a remarkable journey through East African musical history.

Attendees were treated to iconic performances by legendary artists like Nameless, Jua Kali, Kalamashaka, Necessary Noice, and many more. The festival's inclusive approach was evident, showcasing both classic and contemporary sounds to please diverse musical palates. 

Saturday, the heart of the festival, featured an extraordinary performance by Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, who unleashed his repertoire of hit songs, including "Number One," "Jeje," and "African Beauty." The crowd went wild as Diamond Platnumz took them on a musical rollercoaster with tracks that have become anthems throughout East Africa. It was a testament to the unifying power of music, as fans from various backgrounds joined together in celebration. 

Sunday, the grand finale, brought with it a series of captivating surprises that left fans in awe. Nyashinski, one of East Africa's beloved artists, took the stage and, in a gesture that thrilled the crowd, brought out some mega stars to join him in performing their collaborative hits. The surprise guests included the chart-topping Sauti Sol, who delighted fans with renditions of their hit track 'Short and Sweet' alongside Nyashinski. Their harmonious voices and energetic performance left a lasting impression on the audience. 

Femi One also joined the stage, performing their hit collaborations 'Properly' and 'Under the Influence' with Nyashinski. The chemistry between the two artists and the powerful lyrics of their songs resonated with the crowd.

Tanzanian star Jux graced the festival with his presence, performing his collaboration 'In case you don't know' with Nyashinski and treating the audience to his hit single 'Enjoy.' His smooth vocals and charismatic stage presence added a touch of international flavor to the event. 

But the surprises didn't end there, as fellow rapper Khaligraph Jones took the stage by storm. The crowd roared in approval as Khaligraph Jones and Nyashinski performed their hit collaboration 'Msifu Bwana,' delivering a high-energy performance that had the audience on their feet. 

Khaligraph Jones, in his electrifying performance, had some surprises of his own. He invited Breeder LW, who had earlier performed, to join him on stage for a dynamic rendition of their collaboration 'Ni Kubaya.' The audience was left in awe of the seamless synergy between these artists and the power of their music to unite and uplift.

Throughout the three days of the festival, attendees were treated to performances by an array of top artists, DJs, and MCs, each adding their unique touch to the celebration of East African culture through music. The festival achieved its mission of celebrating the rich diversity of the East African region and fostering cultural exchange through music.
