Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan and Shakib Cham will officially say I do on October 3rd. An invite showing the couple will wed in South Africa has leaked online and excited their fans.
The white and gold card reads;
"Are you invited? Zarina Hassan and Shakib Luutaya cordially invite you to share in the joy and celebration of their wedding day."
The leaked card blocks out the venue but indicates the wedding will be held at 12 p.m.
"Your presence on this special day would make our celebration truly unforgettable," signed off with the names Zari and Shakib in gold.
Shakib ‘Cham’ Lutaaya and Zari officially started dating in 2022.
In May, after they held a Nikkah ceremony, Zari Hassan set the record straight about claims that she started dating Shakib while he was employed as a watchman by her late husband Ivan Ssemwanga.
She admitted that she dated Shakib way back before they went their separate ways only to reunite in 2022. She has since been referring to him as 'her first official husband'', the only man bold and brave enough to marry her.
Zari was 42 at the traditional wedding and responded to mean comments that said she was too old. She told off netizens saying people can marry at any age they feel like as long as they are comfortable with each other.
This wedding date comes five months after their traditional ceremony called the Nikah.
The nikkah was held in April this year after Shakib revealed the details of how he gave an engagement ring to Zari on Sunday 16th April 2023.
Both Zari and Lutaaya shared videos of themselves seated together wearing Muslim attire.
The couple was surrounded by elderly Muslim men and women showing how much respect was put to this ceremony.
