Tanzanian musician Nandy, is counting her losses after her child ruined her new iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The singer made the announcement on her Instagram page, while worrying about how her husband will respond to the circumstance.

“Just imagine I found my daughter driving my new iPhone 15 like a car in the house. The phone is just two days old. You will explain to your father what you have done because the phone is broken.

“Why have you broken my iPhone 15, now what will I tell your father,” Nandy lamented.

In a separate video, Billnass reacted to the news saying that he doesn’t fault his daughter because he is a phone dealer and soon he will buy another phone for his wife.

“You know I sell phones and such incidents are meant to happen, so I have no regrets as I will easily replace the broken phone,” Billnass said.

The new iPhone 15 was unveiled on September 13 and it retails from Sh146K to Sh300K depending on its specs.

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have been given brighter screens and improved camera systems, while the high-end iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max now come with a titanium frame, meant to improve its strength.

But some experts questioned whether consumers would be prepared to pay the high price tags given the devices are not hugely different to their predecessors.

The 15 Pro starts at $999 (Sh146 403) with 128GB of storage, and the Pro Max at $1,199 (Sh175 713) with 256GB of storage. Both will be available for preorder this Friday and on sale September 22nd.

Apple has confirmed its new iPhone will not feature its proprietary lightning charging port after the EU forced it into the change.

The tech giant said that the iPhone 15, unveiled at its annual event on Wednesday, would use a USB-C cable as the "universally accepted standard".

In September 2022, Nandy and Billnass gifted their house manager a brand new iPhone 14 Pro Max that had just been released to the market.

Billnass is a businessman who has specialized in selling phones in Tanzania.

The two love birds officiated their relationship on July 16 at the KKKT Church in Mbezi Beach Dar es Salaam and in August they welcomed their first child together.
