A simmering feud between Kenyan influencers Khalif Kairo and Maureen Bandari has drawn in their respective fans.
Kenyans are engaged in a heated argument over who among the two is the best contender in the Pulse LiveKenya Awards 2023.
According to a screenshot of the voting process, Maureen and Kairo are neck and neck and this may be raising temperatures.
The pair are nominated in the same category - Business Influencer 2023- in the much anticipated Pulse Awards 2023.
This has not escaped the notice of Kenyans and the competition over who is likely to carry the award drawing in fans.
Maureen is trending on Twitter (Now X.com) for her comments.
"I would rather lose an award honorably than buy a win ๐," she informed KOT.
Kairo on his part has also been throwing shade at his competitor with comments about the voting.
"Voting ends on 21st September. So let's keep voting. To our rivals, it is nothing pasono but business requires shrewdness sometimes๐๐"
The drama surrounding their nomination in the same category revolves around what they each do in their respective careers.
