Tanzanian singer Ben Pol has asked fans to stop comparing his career and a two-year distraction brought about by a relationship.

Pol said he released his first hit in 2010 and 13 years down the line, two years of his career were just but a distraction.

He went on to do the math, that he's genuinely been active for 11 years and not 13 years.

He went on to say that he will be breaking his silence through his upcoming album.
