Gospel singer Mr. Seed has explained why he got a tattoo of the date he was involved in a grisly road accident.

In an interview with Mungai Eve, Seed says that he felt pain that he had never felt and that is what led him to draw the tattoo.

On April 29 the musician was involved in an accident with his crew where one of them died while he and the other were injured.

Mr. Seed had a leg injury and he had to go on bed rest for 3 months.

"In April you got involved in an accident and we never know what happened," Eve

"Iyo siku nilikua naskia uchungu, a different pain not like the pain that I was feeling in my pelvis. So I called the tattoo guy."

He continued to explain how it was after the accident and how hard his healing was to the point that he fell into depression.

"From what the doctors were telling me, I felt like I wouldn't be able to walk again so I was prescribed bed rest for 3 months," He explains.

He says that he even could imagine it, especially in his line of work and you are the breadwinner of your family, it would be impossible for him to have a 3-month bedrest.

The father of two also explains in detail what exactly happened on that day.

"I was sleeping and when I opened my eyes, is when I saw that the cars had collided. Our car rolled and I felt unconscious I woke up like 20 minutes later only to find that our car was upside down. In my mind, something told me to get out of the car as fast as possible before it explored. I struggled my way out while crawling on top of broken glasses through the back windscreen. I succeeded on my way out but I didn't realize that my pelvis was cracked until I tried to get up. I felt so much pain that I blacked out. I didn't even know where the people we were with I just saw them from a distance when I opened my eyes. A public car that was passing by stopped and rescued me first, took me to the hospital, and called my wife. I am very grateful to those people because they canceled their plans to help me. I didn't know that one of us died because nobody wanted to tell me because I was still undergoing X-rays."

He says until today he has not healed completely from the accident both physically and mentally. He still asks himself a lot of questions about that day.

He concluded saying that it was hard for all of them for those who were blaming him for I am Ray's death. He is not fully healed even though he is back on social media and music and that is a day to remember.
