The undisputed Queen of Radio Caroline Mutoko was on Thursday, August 2. 2023 feted by management and staff as she marked her official exit from the Westalnds-based media house.

In a ceremony at the offices, Group CEO Patrick Quarcoo and Group General Manager Martin Khafafa paid glowing tribute to the Queen of Radio, noting her huge contribution to the company and scouting of talent.

Caroline cut the cake and took a moment to speak about her journey in media.

She told how she began working at the tender age of 17, rising up the ranks after being hired by Radio Africa. She began as the Breakfast host on Kiss FM.

Getting candid about why she stayed so long at Radio Africa, Caroline revealed it was because the board and management believed in her and treated her so well, inspiring her confidence and she was able to deliver.

"Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for your backing and support. Thank you for building me & giving me a career. Finally, Thank you for letting me go with joy, pomp, and above all your blessings & best wishes. Thank you," she addressed the team.

She also announced that she will be revealing much later what her next move will be. In the meantime, she will be using that moment to relax and bond with her two children.

She spoke about the importance of family time and wished her former colleagues well.
