• Before receiving the money, Kajala opened up about the good relationship between her and her son-in-law Marioo.

Veteran movie star Frida Kajala Masanja threw a big party to celebrate her birthday on Saturday evening.

Family, friends, and other artists in the bongo industry were among the guests who graced the occasion as the mother of one daughter celebrated her 40th birthday.

Singer Omary Mwanga aka Marioo, who is currently dating Kajala's 21-year-old daughter, Paula Paul was among the guests who graced the ceremony.

The hit singer of 'Mi Amor' used the occasion to pour love on his mother-in-law and appreciated her for giving her daughter to him.

“Upendo ambao naupata kutoka kwa mama mkwe ni mkubwa sana. Tushaongea vitu vingi mimi na mama yangu, tumeshapanga vitu vingi sana. Mimi niseme tu nampenda sana na Mungu amfanyie upesi mambo yazidi kuwa mazuri,” Marioo said in front of the guests who had gathered for the party.

Adding, “Nafurahi kwamba kanikabidhi mtoto, sio rasmi lakini. Nimefurahi, nashukuru nampenda sana mama yangu. Mungu akubariki.”

After his speech, Marioo reached for a bag full of money that he intended to give to the ex-girlfriend of the Kondegang boss Harmonize as a birthday present.

Before receiving the money, Kajala opened up about the good relationship between her and her son-in-law Marioo.

She recognized the singer as her son and revealed that they have big plans together.

“Omari ni kijana wangu. Tuko poa sana, tunaingia vizuri mno. Tunaongea vitu vingi sana, ata asiponipa mimi chochote hapa, niko poa kwa sababu kuna vitu vingi sana tunafanya nyuma ya pazia nyinyi hata hamjui. Uwepo wake hapa ni mkubwa mnachotaka atoe kwenye sahani. Shukran kwa kuja,” Kajala alisema.

After being praised, Marioo continued to shower his girlfriend's mother with an unknown amount of money.

Marioo and Paula revealed they were dating earlier this year and have been together for months now.

Paula introduced Marioo as her new boyfriend about three months ago, just a few days after her ex-boyfriend, Rayvanny confirmed the revival of his relationship with his baby mama Fahyma aka Fayvanny.
