Papa Shirandula is being remembered by his cast mates as they mark his 3 year death anniversary. Several of them took to their social media to eulogize him as they recalled the impact he had on their lives.
Charles Bukeko aka Papa Shirandula died after suffering breathing complications while awaiting treatment at a local hospital.
The late Papa Shirandula died in 2020 at 58. His demise was made public by his wife Beatrice who was with him at the time.
“He passed on while I was with him in the car, He was not even admitted," she shared some details at the time.
He was buried in his Namisi-Bukeko village home in Nanderema, Funyula in Busia County.
Mama Nyaguthii and Njoro from the popular TV show penned heartwarming messages to their mentor to mark his 3-year death anniversary.
Mary 'Nyaguthii' Airo aka Mama Nyaguthi wrote;
"Today marks exactly three years since we buried this great man Charles Bukeko aka Papa Shirandula. This man who contributed positively to our lives. This man who loved us as his children. This man who was the gateway to opportunities in our lives. This man Paps as we would call him. I will forever be grateful 🙏. Continue resting in peace Pap."
Kenneth Gichoya aka Njoro penned his last memory with several pictures of them. The most memorable was of Njoro at the graveside looking down sorrowfully.
"Tree years a day like today we buried papashirandula. Bado ninalia my big brother. Continue resting in peace. He had a larger-than-life personality and continues to be missed on our TvVscreens. RIP Papa."
