Kenyan comedians have adapted the use of cross-dressing their comedy skits and some have been quite successful in that field.

Most have placed their comedy on TikTok and Instagram platforms where the audience and reception they get are quite large.

Here are a few of the Kenyan comedians who have used cross-dressing in their comedy routines:

1. Flaqo

The Comedian had started out his comedy playing the role of Mama Otis , sister Akoth , Otis and Baba Otis.

He used to play all the parts so well and just bring out some of the challenges faced in a typical family. 

The young man said that it took him quite a lot to bring in the character of Akoth as he used to feel ashamed shooting the female parts but he noticed people liked it and stuck to it.

2. Eric Omondi

He has created quite a few skits dressed as a lady in both ads and he puts on full make up , wigs and dresses.

The comedian has even cross dressed in a bid to do advertisements for some products that is considered a female product.

3. Crazy Kennar

In a few of his skits he plays the role of kienyeji women or the village goat wives using his fellow female comedians as counterparts to play the roles of city girls or sidechicks.

4. Mama Fathma

The TikToker is famous for playing the role of a nosy Swahili woman hailing at the coast he is depicting the lives of Swahili women.

5. Terrence Creative

When he started out his comedy skits he started playing the role of Kamami which gained him popularity as he showed the lives of married women and sidechicks.

6. Baba Akoth and Mama Okoth

Played by a man on TikTok by the name Obayip who depicts the struggles and differences of marriage across the ethnic groups and East African countries

7. Kelvin Kinuthia

The TikToker has grown quite to be famous for his taking up dressing as a female, though people do question his sexuality as he goes about his day-to-day business dressed as a woman.
