Kenyan rapper Ssaru is back in Kenya from her Dubai show.
She says the show was more than she expected.

She hinted at more shows as part of her international plans.
Speaking to Mungai Eve, Ssaru shared pointers that Ngesh wa Vasha should take in genge.

The awarning about being taken advantage of stems from Ssaru's own experience.

Ssaru also told Ngesh her most popular song is good

Coz we mweneywe unajua waKenyan wanaku over hype alafu unajisahau, labda nyota yako ilikuwa kwa Engeenering unajikuta kwa music, I think if she really doing music like as a job, or as a kama anataka kuchukuliwa serious, she should do better than that."
Ssaru also added that it's hard for Gengetone in spite of talent.
"Industry haitambui ka wewe ni galdem or boychild, if you have a talent, siku hizi it is tough everywhere. Ukiwa na talent nini yako itaenda."
Ssaru is elated that Gengetone is now included in the Grammy awards
"We have always been told that Gengetone won't take us far, but now we are being recognized in the Grammys.
Clearly, that shows that as much as wasee wanacriticize, a bigger percentage inapenda, so let us focus on those who love the genre and it will still be here the next thing is BET.

She had planned to release an EP this year but there is a setback
"Vile time inaenda, nataka first ni release song kadhaa maybe the EP will be next year," she told Eve.
Adding:

Right now we share the same goals, same dreams so it's easy to maneuver.
