A Kenyan man fooled Kenyans into believing he is dirt broke and can't afford to treat his Kienyeji wife on her birthday.
His moving love story got scores of Kenyans to send him money to treat his dear wife Sarah, after a heartbreaking plea for donations.
The user has since deleted the Twitter account.the man with the Twitter user @Wa Ingo, broke the hearts of netizens when he shared beautiful pictures of his Kienyeji wife plus a child to appeal to the hearts of many.
"Tomorrow is my wife's birthday na sina ata 10bob, waah" he penned in a Tweet that has been viewed over 2.9 million times.
He penned a note to his wife Sarah

The man then added his stress at not being able to afford to do anything special for her birthday.

His story appealed to the hearts of Kenyans that even some brands offered the cute family a holiday.
He even gave out a phone number for generous Kenyans to send Mpesa.
