Mugithi singer/DJ Lawrence Njuguna Wagura, popularly known as DJ Fatxo, has left his fans reeling with excitement after he took to his socials to reveal that he'd be making his big debut into the acting industry.
The vernacular artist who has had a hard time the last few months after a young interior designer identified as Jeff Mwathi died in his apartment took to his Instagram page to thank his fans for sticking by him before making the revelation.
Faxto highlighted the drama he went through shaped him and helped him look at life differently, perhaps why he'd decided to give theater a short.
The entertainer posted a photo of him with his guitar holding up an award he'd received 2 months ago. He went on to caption the photo,
"I tend to believe that sometimes the bad times in our life put us on a direct path to the very best times in our lives. Thank you very much for believing in me and voting for me as the E360 Mugithi Artist of the Year 2023 amidst all the chaos and hullabaloo... Hili tuzo ni letu sote, (this award is for all of us,)" the first part of the Dj's post read.
He followed it up by letting people in the acting industry to know that a new star was coming through and they should get ready as he was about to take over.
"Now, cinema people, get ready, I'm coming to boil the industry! Debut movie drops tomorrow," the entertainer added, exciting his fans.
