There's a new wave of young budding talent that is taking up space in the music industry.

These artists are bringing out the rnb genre of Kenyan music to another level

Most of these artists are young Gen Zs and they have quite a good community or fan base around them.

Curating concerts and live performances that are different from other artists and making them stand out.

The majority of them started out as artists doing covers and just singing out on Instagram and Tiktok

Here are some of the artists ;

Bridget blue

She started out doing covers and posting them on her Instagram page and then she joined the Kaka empire under King Kaka where her career took off.

She has done a number of songs and recently got signed under J Blessing and released the phenomenal Woman song.

Bridget has also been nominated in the past for an award at Afrimma for Song of the Year for her song Woman.

She has a new song out called Kesho meant to inspire people that despite today's struggles tomorrow will be better.

Kinoti

He also started by jumping onto musical challenges and then doing musical covers.

Kinoti recently performed at the Blankets and Wine Festival and also held his own successful concert.

His music is a fusion of Afro-fusion and rnb.

He broke the internet with his hit song Nitangoja, Ni We, and Enough.

All his songs can be found in his album called Green Room.

Watendawili

This is a boy band group that has featured on Okello Max's tracks like "Drill Rhumba".

The duo comprising of Israel Onyach and Eugene Ywayaa also started out by doing covers to working even under the Sol generation.

They were formerly known as Kaskazini and featured in the extravaganza hit song.

They make acoustic music that is more of Neo soul and Afro-fusion together.

Their latest song is called Sio February Tu.

Muthaka

She has featured in Bensoul's new album in the song called 'Same page'.

She won Afrimma 2022 Best Female Artiste In Eastern Africa.

Muthaka's songs fall under the acoustics and Rnb genres.

Her hit song is Sunshine from her album called Sunshine.

Nikita Kerring

Kenya's iconic pioneer of the RnB genre.

She has been featured on some amazing projects like Netflix Queen Charlotte, billboards in times square.

Some other great Kenyan artistes include; Karun, Xenia Manasseh, Ethan Muziki among many others.
