A man who felt frustrated by his wife, and took the decision to abandon her and the children has captivated social media.
The leaked Whatsapp conversation shows a man exasperated and struggling with the thought of moving on without his children.
Although it is snippets of the entire conversation, Kenyans following the chat have shared sad thoughts about his life decision. It begins with the wife asking about his whereabouts.
"Babe kwani uko? Naulizia mboch anasema ukitoka tu na laptop bag na lapi iko huku whats happening babe? please say something," the woman says.
He responded, "Niko kwa gari naenda home ..ive tried to stick around as a father ila enough is enough. When I had everything I remember even nilijengea wazazi wako right? Your siz nikawalipia fees , job ikaisha ukaanza visaa, home unakuja late . Simu kama mia. Huwa nakimya ila tu Im not blind. Few days ago kwa parking lot I saw you kissing na msee flani.."
He continues to despair about his marriage;
"I'm broke but not done, Thanks for everything I do appreciate I feel so stupid not because Im slipping away but because I took a bullet to guys who don't give a sh** about me. "
He added;
"Roy waambie nawapenda sana ila for there safety I had to disapear for a while I shall overcome. " he continues.
She pleads with him to change his mind after his confession "Babe please come we need to talk. Please we've kids together."
He doesn't agree with her and brushes off her attempts to persuade him
"Peace peace peace is very important kwa mwanaume. And that peace Im gonna find it kwa mamangu. I left home strong, energetic, and smiling, now Im going home broke, heartbroken, weak and so different ila I shall arise. Dont waste your time looking for me. This the most painful decision nimewai fanya ila I have to. I wish you well. No biff. Take care of my kids, try to be a wife I met 10 years ago kwa bus stop," the leaked conversation ends.
