Kenyan businesswoman Anerlisa Muigai has warned women against staying in toxic relations.

The laid-back damsel says having a toxic partner is the worst thing one can experience.

She also says it's important to learn where and when to draw boundaries.

“The beauty about being healed and happy is that you get to be very selective with who you bring into your personal life, especially with relationships.

A draining and toxic partner is the worst thing you can have around… they make everything of yours seem stuck,” she said.

According to Anerlisa drawing boundaries is paramount it makes one understand what to say and when to say it.

“Sometimes you will just realize you do not actually want an official relationship, you just need a male or female companion to communicate with or accompany you. Make it clear that your friendship is not sexual.

There are such people,” she said.

Anerlisa  has in the past asked Kenyans to normalise praying for themselves.

“There is something I would like to talk about that most people don’t want to talk about... Real help comes from God, nobody should tell you that ‘kuna mtu’ who can put their hands on you or pray for you more than you can pray for yourself. God is not complicated,” the first part of the entrepreneur's post read.

The social media influencer went on to add that people should learn to find strength in their own prayers as written in the bible.

She encouraged reading the bible, attending bible study groups and the church as usual but when it comes to prayers let that be your individual journey.

“You do not need anybody apart from a bible study and the normal Church Mass. Pray and live according to God’s standards. Let no one convince you otherwise!" Anerlisa added.

She pointed out she was skeptical about getting prayed for and hand placing as sometimes people use these mediums to drag and trap people into cults such as Satanism.

"Do not allow people to capitalize or sink you deep into Satanism all in the name of trying to better your life. Nobody and I repeat that nobody has the power to change your life away from God’s will. Normalize praying for yourself,” the last of her post read.
