Details of upcoming Stanbic Yetu Festival featuring Boyz II Men

• The Stanbic Yetu Festival seeks to leverage music to bring to life Stanbic's brand promise “IT CAN BE” by creating a soulful and magical live musical experience in Kenya.

• The event will take place on Saturday June 10th 2023

Stanbic and Radio Africa today announced that Boyz II Men are going to grace the most awaited Stanbic Yetu festival that will take place on Saturday, June 10th, 2023, in Nairobi.

The Boyz II Men is an American vocal harmony group from Philadelphia best known for emotional ballads and cappella harmonies.

Speaking at the launch of the event, Somoina Komojino from Radio Africa Group, expressed her gratitude for partnering with Stanbic once again explaining that;

" We are excited for the second edition of the Stanbic Yetu festival as Radio Africa is a believer in music and we have been supporting music for a very long time, with its radio stations, we have huge digital platforms, and we want to put Kenya on the Map and Africa by changing the events music industry" adding;

"We are so glad for a second time that Stanbic has supported the creative industry" revealing that the headline artist will be Boyz II Men.

She also disclosed that it will be their first in Africa and that the local artists will be announced next week.

On the other hand, Lilian Onyach who handles consumer business and marketing for Stanbic revealed how excited she is for working again with Radio Africa disclosing that they are here to promote local and international and local artists further noting that;

"Last year when we did this we had, Anthony Hamilton, and Otile Brown, for us really coming back is really to promote the international and also the local artists, when we look at what we have done across Africa because we are the largest Bank in Africa and some of the things we have done is supporting artists, supporting music, doing this is quite natural for us because supporting the creative economy is something that we are quite keen on"

Onyach also praised Radio Africa for being the best event organizer describing that Stanbic working with Radio Africa is "A match made in heaven"

Pernord Ricard also affirmed that the event will be an amazing experience and they will ensure that they bring friendly and enjoyable moments.
