Mombasa-based pastor Ezekiel has advised single mothers to get married after their President Akothee jumped the broom.

Akothee who has for years called herself 'The self Proclaimed President of Single mothers' wed the love of her life Omosh on her 40th birthday.

The New Life Church founder added that all cabinet secretaries, CASs, and government workers (in reference to Akothee's 'government') must get married since the president herself got hitched.

Ata yule binti anaitwa Akothee aliyekuwa anaitwa president wa single mothers ameolewa, wewe pia uolewe kwa jina la Yesu Kristo," the preacher said.

Adding

"Kama rais ameolewa, cabinet secretaries na CAS pamoja na wafikazi wote wa serikali wote waolewe. Niliona nkafurahi nkasema ikiwa president wa single mothers ameolewa all single mothers wapate roho ya ndoa," pastor Ezekiel said.

Among the notable persons who attended the wedding include;

Ida Odinga, Senator Karen Nyamu, MP Jalang’o, Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa, Governor Anyang' Nyong'o and his wife Dorothy, MP Millie Odhiambo, former Chief Administrative Secretary David Osiany and his wife Syombua.

Others include singer Bahati and his wife Diana, Comedian Terence Creative and his wife Milly, YouTuber Kabi wa Jesus and his wife Milly, media personalities Lillian Muli, Lofty Matambo, Fridah Mwaka, Wilbroda, Alex Mwakideu, Billy Miya, Mwende Mach aria.

Finally on the attendee's list was

Dr. Ofweneke, Eric Omondi, Phoina Tosha, Janet Mbugua, J Blessing, DJ Piera Makena, MC Jessy, Mo Momanyi, Betty Kyallo, Moya David, and The Kabus among others.

The wedding took place on the day Akothee was also celebrating her 40th birthday.
