Singer-songwriter Adasa Dasa has admitted to splitting from her management team which appears to be about a controversial issue.

The fast-rising singer got candid with Oga Obinna on his Kula Cooler show where she revealed that she was now doing things solo.

What led to her ending her contract with her management?

"When you see someone is courageous na anajiamini I think you have to understand this, when you manifest so it becomes, ulimi inaweza fanya anything, so the moment you sit and say you are the best that is what happens, you must appreciate yourself, trust me," she told Obinna.

She has not been releasing new music for this reason. "You know my music has been having challenges at first I had a really good management team who supported me so much but then since then there have been ups and downs."

And why was that?

"Mambo lazima yatokee kukosana na ilihappen. I didn't want to go public with this because things happen. Kuna kutoelewana.

Mambo tuu yalikuja from nowhere. People came from nowhere na pia they destroyed everything that we had kwa hiyo team of which it is okay because in this life such things happen in careers."

It has affected her so much that she has not released music for 7 months. "Kwa sababu the team that I had ilikuwa inakuja na mimi vizuri, lakini kukaingia dosari."

The 'Nipekeche' singer added that she tried to make amends with the team but it failed blaming the split on 'kutoelewana tu" without going into further details.

"It's not easy kuwa peke yako but then when you are determined you know what you want, you know where where you want to go you have dreams, you have goals, huwezi acha.

As long as you have a place you are going, you can't stop what you started bora wewe uko na sauti unaeza enda kwa studio, unaeza jiandikia, you can't stop."

She added that it wasn't easy unlike before but she has options like streaming apps.

She is now in the market for new management. "Two heads are better than one. You cannot work alone. but the best thing I would love is an investor," she finished.

During her career, she has done collabos and has worked with Stivo Simple Boy, Speedo, and Khaligraph, among others.
