Diana Marua has confirmed that her little daughter, Malaika Bahati has been hospitalized for the past five days.

On Saturday, Bahati's wife showed several pictures of the five-month-old daughter being treated by health workers.

"Day 5, my Baby Lucky Angel, good health is your portion in the name of Jesus," she wrote under the photos she uploaded to Instagram.

In the picture, the mother of three was seen holding her daughter while feeding her with a bottle. She continued to thank the health workers who have been treating his last child.

"They are doing everything to ensure that Laika is well and recovers. I pray to God to heal my daughter," she said.

Her husband, Bahati, also took the opportunity to pray for the recovery of their five-month-old child.

Singer Bahati was the first to reveal that his daughter Malaika Bahati was ill a few days ago. On Thursday, the father of four said his five-month-old daughter had been hospitalized since early this week.

"Baby Malaika has been admitted to Komarock Modern Hospital for the past 3 days and we are praying for Malaika's speedy recovery," the musician said in a short statement on his Instagram page.

The musician attached the message with a photo of himself holding Malaika while a female nurse attended to him.

He continued to pray for his little child's speedy recovery. "May God's healing be upon you my daughter Malaika Bahati," he said.

Another statement published on Baby Malaika's page indicated that she was still recovering in the hospital. "I have been embraced with love and care. I am doing well here in the hospital," said the statement.

A photo of Diana Marua hugging her child accompanied the statement on Thursday.

Malaika Bahati, who is the third child of Bahati and Diana Marua, was born in November last year. After Diana gave birth, Bahati congratulated her and thanked her for being the parent of his children and for being a good mother.

"I have loved you more for carrying my pregnancy and raising my children... BUT I have respected you MORE for being confident in the operating room when you went through the surgery to welcome our daughter @MALAIKA_BAHATI," he said.

The former gospel singer said he witnessed how calm his wife was during the cesarean section (CS) and expressed how much he appreciated and respected her for all that.
