You heard it straight from the horse's mouth. Nigerian singer Davido has confirmed that he is officially married to Chioma Rowland.
He was speaking about his album in an interview with Kiekie, where he let it slip that he is married.
The singer, who took a break from social media following the death of his son, Ifeanyi, discussed his marriage to Chioma, his musical long break, and his new project, ‘Timeless’.
He said, “I have had a lot to think about, time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time. Time to make music again," he said.
“Before I went on break, I actually had an album ready. I had it all ready, but we redid the album. I travelled, and I am married. A lot of different things, but we are ready to get back on the road,” Davido added.
Davido also announced earlier this year that he was gearing up to release his highly-anticipated PUMA collection.
The singer announced that his fashion collection created in partnership with popular fashion brand, PUMA, is set for release in April.
He will also be touring PUMA stores in the United Kingdom and New York, US, for meet and greets with fans.
“My collection with PUMA will be released globally on April 7th! Thank you to everyone for patiently waiting on this, it means the world to me.
“I will be doing meet and greets at PUMA stores in New York and the UK, just before my shows, and would love to see you all there!” he tweeted.
The African-prints pieces, which were formerly scheduled for release in November 2022, were postponed following the death of his son.
Ifeanyi passed away in October 2022, after drowning at the singer’s Banana Island home in Lagos.
The artiste revealed last week that his album release, which was also postponed after the tragic incident, will be rolled out on Friday.
