Huddah Monroe has responded to an alleged lifted photo she posted on her Instagram. On Friday, the popular socialite was caught setting social media standards with a lifted plane photo.
Huddah shared the photo (but keenly cropped) on her gram stories with a caption, 'Flight Mode'.
Fans were keen to notice that Huddah allegedly lifted the photo from Fatmaa Mhmd's account who published the original photo before her.
After a backlash, the socialite went on to claim that she was onboard traveling with Fatmaa, who she referred to as her friend.
"I was traveling with a friend and people found her page & started sending her BS. saying I stole her sh!t when she was next to me on the same flight," Huddah claims.
Fatma has responded, saying that she neither knows Huddah nor has she ever traveled with her. She added that she does not want to be associated with online drama.
"Let's tell the truth, we weren't on the same flight, the girl has the right to post what she wants and it doesn't bother me if she uses my content but y'all just push people to lie on this social media, please I don't want my name on it. Thanks," Fatmaa said.
Huddah now claims she will be taking many photos while on a plane so that people will not say she lifted the photos.
This is not the first time Huddah has been caught lying about her lifestyle.
Weeks ago, Huddah told her fans that she was not yet ready to be a mum as she has not found any fit man to get a baby.
"I am not pregnant y'all! My belly getting bigger lol. I'm on my grown-woman phase...Chill! Ain't no sperm strong enough yet to catch my ovary."
Earlier on she shared videos of her showing a protruding belly telling her fans that she was three months pregnant.
