Award-winning singer Nadia Mukami and her boyfriend Arrow Bwoy are marking their son's first birthday.

The Maombi hitmaker has been telling fans that she is super excited about the milestone.

Her son is called Haseeb Kai.

They have a song dubbed Kai Wangu dedicated to him. In the song, they chronicled events leading up to his birth. The couple also vowed to give him the best that life has to offer.

Nadia has been giving fans an update on motherhood saying the hard part is postpartum and not pregnancy.

She has also been candid about balancing motherhood and career. She has been overwhelmed, and no one understood her.

"I really struggled with the whole new mummy thing! Bruh! I am a very strong woman but I really did get overwhelmed,".

She has also spoken about her state of mind as a first-time mum.

"I have tried to protect it so much. Sometimes I wondered if I am a good mum but I accepted help as a new mum to keep my sanity. If you get help from friends and family, don’t hesitate,” she said on her Instagram page.

We are yet to see his face. Nadia has hinted she might be contemplating unveiling his face during his first birthday.

"I dont know if I should introduce my son to the world or not," she said, adding "crying tears of joy coz my baby is one ..real tears" she shared.

She has been so excited about her son's growth that she threw him a party when he marked eight months.

She also celebrated when he showed teeth at 11 months.

Haseeb has his own Instagram account with over 25k followers.

Nadia had lost a pregnancy a year before.

The ‘Radio Love’ hitmaker has a foundation called ‘Lola and Safari’ to honor the child she lost following a miscarriage.

“Lola and Safari are the names the couple had earmarked for the child.

The foundation works with girls and mothers who have challenges with pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum depression.
