Machachari actor Kamau Mbaya, aka Baha, said he started a family when he was young because he was lonely after his mother died.
Speaking in a YouTube interview with Hiram Maina, Baha said he needed a source of family and the only way was to make a family.
The actor and his girlfriend Georgina have one child together. "I am not married yet, you will see the wedding, but I decided to settle down early, I am with my boyfriend, we have a beautiful child," he said.
Baha lost his mother, Beth Nyambura, in 2013 after suffering from cancer for a long time. At that time, Baha was in first form at Nairobi School.
"This is my opinion guys and I'm not telling people to calm down early, I made a name early," he said. "I grew up and you start to look inside yourself, you want to do better things, you want to change.
So I was in that moment and I saw that my mother left a big gap in my heart." He said his mother's death affected him deeply, leading to the decision. His mother pushed him into art after seeing his talent.
"He taught me the ropes of spinning. I looked at his acting skills," he said, adding that to improve his skills, he studied films online and launched his own YouTube channel.
He wanted to be a scientist, lawyer and journalist because he saw prestige in it. "It seemed good, but when I got into high school, I got the reality," he said.
"Initially, I wanted to be a lawyer. I did well in relevant subjects, humanities and languages I was high. But his love for acting was greater. So he went straight into it. She rose to fame on the TV show 'Machachari' in 2010, when the first episode aired.
