Kileleshwa MCA and blogger Robert Alai has taken the time to share a piece of advice with YouTuber Xtian Dela following his mother's plea for reconciliation.
In the tweet, Alai gave counsel to Xtian requesting him to have a conversation with his mother.
He advised the Content creator not to allow his mother to be in a state of sorrow and pain as it comes with an upshot of failure in life.
"Hey Arthur, don’t do this to your mother. Don’t ever take your parent through such pain Have a conversation with her but don’t let her cry like this because the tears are going to make the path to your success very slippery. Don’t be cheated by KO"
According to a video that went viral on social media yesterday, Xtian Dela's mother, Reverend Naomi Nyongesa appeared to plead with her son for a reunion.
She claimed that Xtian had not visited nor called her for 4 years on account that she had questioned him about his lifestyle.
His lifestyle went in contrary to the values that he had been raised with.
Xtian is from a Christian-based family background. His late father was a man of the collar.
Alai went on and expressed the importance of honoring your parents. On his end, he claims that he would never allow his parents to tear down, as a contented and delightful parent is equal to a blessed child.
" Arthur does not understand the value of those tears before God to a parent. I'd never allow my mother to shed tears because of me for whatever reason. Arthur, go back and comfort your mother, give her your life and you'll never lack or beg for anything. DO IT !"
According to Xtian Ndela, his mother's toxic behavior caused him to distance himself. In a lengthy post on his blog, he shared the common signs of toxic parenting and explained how his mother’s behavior had pushed him away from his maternal home.
Alai has also expressed his thoughts on Xtian's response saying that there is no school for parenting, every parent raises their kid in their own style.
He calls out Xtian for being a wimp because of his utterance of terming the mother as toxic.
"Your parents didn't go to a parenting school. Each one of them is trying to raise you their way. None is perfect. Saying you run from your mother "because she is toxic" is being a man without balls. Only fools hope to solve a problem by running from it."
Xtian Dela's mother is a Revered and actress at Hullabaloo Estate, which is a TV program that airs at Maisha Magic East.
