Shorn Arwa has told how recurrent UTIs led to the discovery that she was pregnant.
"As you guys know may or not know I am a first-time mum"
Asking questions that she has not filmed on her youtube, shorn Arwa opened up about being clueless about conceiving.
"When did you realize you were pregnant?" She was asked by a curious fan.she responded"I realized I was pregnant around December, on the 24th 202."
Shorn had been unwell, and that sickness prompted her and her Nigerian husband to seek medical help from a nearby Chemist.
"I was not feeling well, I was having some discharge, damn ignorance is so bad, I honestly thought I had like a UTI,"
She was prescribed for medication to treat a UTI
However, it didn't really treat her condition because it was a recurrent UTI.
"I had to go to the hospital and we did a test and it came out positive and I was told you are pregnant "
Shorn got the test results and describes the interesting moment she held back screams of joy.
"I was having a meal with my friend and I get the email, and I don't want to go like ...scream.
I was so excited, it's just that I didn't jump"
Her Kenyan parents thought the news was a prank, and she tells why
"They were shocked kinda because traditionally I haven't been the type that fancies kids and want kids like that.
So when I told them I am pregnant it was shocking, they thought I was pranking them
"So much so they even told her to stop the jokes.the pregnancy was planned despite how she discovered she was pregnant."
She spoke about the long journey to conceiving.
This baby was planned, was looking for, was searched, was prayed for. I remember trying different styles "
Laughing, she added that the moments happened even in the middle of the night.
"One day I will tell you, guys, how long I tried for a child"
Shorn said she has no immediate plans for baby number two
"Can I breathe? Can the stitches at least heal? Haven't you watched my video, I almost died. Currently, I don't want another child, not unless I change my mind. "Coz having a child is a lot, I've learned that having a child is a lot a full-time, a lifetime commitment, right now "
She also added that the demands of her content creation, plus the cost of raising a child
