The daughter of businessman and media personality Betty Kyallo, Ivanna seemed surprised after finding out about her mother's birthday this year.

In a video published on Instagram, Ivanna, who is Betty's only child, asked her about her age and she seemed shocked by her answer.

Betty who was recording the video of the incident replied to her daughter, "I am turning 34." Ivanna who at that time was drinking something from the glass exclaimed, "Wueh!"

Following that answer, the hair and beauty entrepreneur jokingly asked her daughter to stop embarrassing her. "Aah, you stop that," she said before bursting into laughter.

Betty Kyallo will be celebrating her 34th birthday in the middle of next month. Ivanna, her child with ex-husband, broadcaster Dennis Okari, will turn nine in June this year.

Betty and Denni Okari separated in 2016, just half a year after tying the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony. The two news anchors had been dating for about four years.

Last year, Betty made it clear that there is no enmity between her and her ex-husband revealing that there is a good partnership between her and Okari in the upbringing of their daughter Ivanna.

"Working together in parenting has been good. Ivanna loves her father very much and her father loves her as well," Betty said in an interview with Citizen Digital.

She however admitted that it took time for them to get along well after their marriage hit the wall.

She also disclosed that each of them gets time to spend with their daughter and they attend her school meetings together.

"We go with Dennis to all school meetings. The way we sit, people might think we are still together. We have no quarrels. We are friends. We always call each other about our daughter," she said.
