Muigai further stated that his two wives are not jealous and they love each other. He said such souls are rare to find asking God to bless them for him.
"These two refused to be selfish, to be jealous of each other, and to hate each other. Such souls are very rare in this generation. God help me to always make them proud. May they be blessed. Muigai's wives who build me."
Muigai is among the celebrities who have positively embraced polygamy in Kenya. A few years back, Muigai asked Kenyans to stop judging artistes based on their life decisions.
Speaking during Mighty Salim's burial, Muigai addressed the issue that had been spreading on different social media about him marrying two wives.
Muigai said he is judged since he is a public figure. "Me having a second wife is not a sin." Muigai then explained that he had chosen them for a reason.
"We have our lives as musicians. Some people who are here today have more than one wife but nobody asks them since they are not famous. But when God helps Muigai to add one more wife, the whole world starts fighting me."
Muigai further said he wanted to raise his children in a complete family setup.
"You want me to grow old so I can get another one? I am not a nun. Let us live our lives. I loved her and I could not live her to stray around with my kids."
