Organizers fault heavy downpour in Kampala

Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone is counting losses after the stage of his Gwanga Mujje concert fell following a heavy downpour in Kampala.

This happened just a few hours before his show that had been scheduled to go down tonight.

The huge stage was blown away by heavy winds and left vandalized. According to Ugandan media pundits, the singer, together with the event organizers were in preparations for setting up a smaller stage.

However, before the second stage could be set up, an official statement was released, postponing the show.

“We shall be back bigger and stronger on 24th February. For all my fans, keep your tickets safe. See you on 24th!!" said Chameleone

In an Instagram message, Chameloene added;

"The devil is a liar, am so sorry about all this I am still vigilant though, and cannot be conquered this easily. God’s power will unveil itself soon."

Speaking about their met-up, Bebe Cool said;

“We are grown-ups and nothing can break us apart. We are people of actions and we are setting a way for the young generations,"
