A man in Bungoma county is nursing injuries after his privates were allegedly bitten by his daughter-in-law during a dispute.
The 78-year-old, identified as Vincent Barasa narrates that he intervened in a fight between his daughter-in-law and another woman before the bizarre incident happened.
He says he was attacked by one Evelyn Okello - who is the second wife to his son.
"It was around 4 pm, I was seated here, it was on the 28th of this month. I was served my dinner by my family nilichelewa kidogo,".
A video by Citizen Digital shows the man recounting his ordeal at the hands of his cruel daughter-in-law.
The man said that he is a widower and so his extended family takes care of him.
"Sina bibi, mtoto aliniletea suppe rhapa na mimi nikabeba nikaweka hapa (gesturng outside near his seat) na jamma mwingine akakuja anaitwa Wesonga akakaa hapa,".
Their discussions as friends were soon cut short by screams from nearby
"Kidogo naskia kelele kubwa karibu na nyumba mmeptia hapa. Naskia kelele, kelele, kelele ya nini?" he wondered about the commotion.
His curiosity got the better part of him and he went to investigate what the scuffle was about.
"Wanasema msichana wako na koti wana vurugana na msichana mwingine kwa soko ati amemnyanganya bwana yake"
They quickly ran to the scene of the fight wondering why his daughter-in-law was involved in a fight over a married man.
"Nilipata akiwa kali kali. Alikuwa na hasira akachukuwa mawe akanipiga kwa mbogngo nikaanguka chini, nikakosa fahamu, bibi ya mtoto wangu akaniangukia akanikaa kwa kifua akaniuuma, nikamsukuma, "
The 78-year-old man told that she overpowered him, sat on his chest, and bite him.
He tried pushing her away and that's when she took a hold of his trousers and bite his privates.
"Akachukua hio longi akakunja longi, sharti akachukuwa hio (pointing at his private) hakunitoa longi, akakunja longi akaweka weka mdomo yake akaniuma ukweli nikalia"
The old man was rescued by his relatives.
